About Name Art

The Jaffe name has been synonymous with photography in Memphis and the mid-south for over 60 years. I am a second generation photographer and have always loved taking pictures. While others have golf, hunting or some other hobby to get them away from their daily work, I take pictures! Nameart is novel, fun and a conversation starter. It can be displayed almost anywhere, from a beautiful grouping in a formal area to a child's bedroom. I have mine above my desk in my digital darkroom.

When the craze of photographing natural and structural objects that resemble letters started, it looked like fun. I am not sure who started it. I do however have a creative, fun alphabet that, as a finished product is an excellent wedding gift, perfect for birthdays or any other occasion when a more personal touch is needed. Your creativity can give a home or office the perfect accent with a unique decor that combines photographic letter art and a personalized touch to create a custom design.

Now, after more than a year of putting together the latest collection, we are proud to announce a
Brand New Color Halphabet to our library. "I see letters"...sounds strange, but letters were everywhere I looked, begging to be in the new Halphabet! I started photographing them and also wondered why shouldn't they be in color? The new library is colorful, whimsical, happy and down right fun! It is very comprehensive and I am constantly working on more letters, and new products. We want to always be one step ahead so check back often!
